Thalia was a solid oak mirrored back sideboard circa 1920-30's sourced by our antique agents and imported by TR from the UK. A beautiful piece with unique and intricate carvings. We have balanced the heavy carvings and intricacy by hand painting her in a relaxed coastal inspired blue. Mixing Vintros French Navy, Aurora and a dash or Tower Bridge will help you create a smokey blue similar to this piece. She was then been lightly washed in a Blue and earthy mix as well as with a light blue similar to Casper wash giving her a subtle limed look.  She has been beautifully detailed with black wax to accentuate the craftsmanship that was once put into the piece, finished off with subtle touches of silver gilding wax. Her internals have been finished in lovely Grey. The original mirror with bevelled edge has been kept in it's original condition with subtle age spots, adding to the character, history and charm which is Thalia. A lovely statement piece for the entrance area, hallway, dining or even a bedroom. A unique bespoke piece with a beautiful authentic hand painted finish you wont find any where other than at Taylored Revival.
